Some of the more violent bits, like fist fights and such. It's a bit like what Cartoon Network did to Merrie Melodies.

You can't quite blame Cartoon Network for that -- they didn't do NEARLY the butcher job that ABC and CBS did for the long-running Saturday Morning broadcasts.

Yay! Another Roger Ramjet afficionado! Dog, I may have watched that as a cub, but I sure appreciated the "adult" humor. Not as in smutty, but as in you probably had to be an adult to fully appreciate it.

About the same time that show was on the air, computer dating services became popular. You could call and answer questions, or get a questionaire in the mail, and they'd tell you how many potential matches they could give you for a fee. I routinely filled-out questionaires in the guise of Vincent Yaknarow, arch nemisis of Roger.

And remember his headquarters in Lompoc, California? I *love* making fun of Lompoc. It's the flower seed capitol of the world, dontcha know... }:xD

Sid and Marty Kroft? Puffenstuff? Badly done and over-rubbery bodysuits? Blech! }:xD

I admit, I did like "The Bananas." And there was some bizzare kiddy gameshow that featured people in bodysuits, too, but I forget the name of it.

BTW, I also liked the little General who always said "Six-Two and even, over and..." (and never got to finish the line, before he got toasted in the jet exhaust.)

Underdog was cool, too. Wally Cox had the perfect voice for him. Don't tell anybody, but I thought Underdog was yiffy.

Okay, so most of Sid & Marty Krofft stuff was terrible,
but Land of the Lost was COOL!

I feel compelled to point out the snippet above is from Underdog, not Roger Ramjet.

We used to call him that 'cause that's what he's probably wearing if you thing about it.

They just released Puf-n-Stuf on DVD. Now if they released Marshall , Will and Holly on a routine expedition meeting the greatest earthquake ever known there would prbably be a set. I'm amazed they haven't released Shazam! and Isis. Go figure:).

Ah, the memories, the memories... back before the memory went I was the dormatory Cartoon Trivia champion. One of my favorite bits of trivia was the name of Dudley Doright's horse. (His name was Horse.) I even knew who Spinner and Paddlefoot were. And you thought I wasted my youth!
