I even lamented my paralyzed response to the Bali disaster in a comment to her post, and resolved to try to do something no matter how trivial it might seem to express my opinion on this latest mass murder or innocents :-(

I think you've got the American Flag backwards. When it is displayed hanging like that, the stars should be on the left.
