Crunch

While doing some research on real-world weathering examples for renders, I came across this reference photo on the Starship Modeller site. This is what happens when your light truck parks where a Haulpak wants to go.

I hate it when that happens! :-D

That's an empty dumper. If it'd been full the front wheel wouldn't have lifted at all.

Ha! Pity you can't do that in "Tony's" Maryland accent ;-)

A guy in the Occie Health and safety buisiness has a very similar picture of which I have seen...

except in this one, the Haulpak was loaded..

My dream truck

OK. I've revised my definition of a "dream car." It used to be "anything with red/blue lights and a siren." But now I want a Haulpak with red/blue lights and a siren. Of course, the lights and siren wouldn't be to demand the right-of-way (as you already HAVE it, mwahaha!) but rather as a courtesy warning that you're about to be smushed.

This would be the ideal vehicle for driving around Suckumento, California. Imagine the trail of crushed yuppie SUV's I'd leave in my wake. Play aggressive pinhead driver with me, eh? Game over.

It reminds me of the time the guy stole the National Guard tank and went on a rampage in San Diego, California. He cut swaths down residential streets, slicing junky motor homes and "campers" in half. It was wonderful! I cheered in exuberance as I watched live TV coverage of the urban beautification. Some of those POS vehicles hadn't been moved in years. Thanks to him their wreckage was finally towed away. They should have given him a medal instead of shooting him.
