Rexie



Rexie held by H., a fellow rescuer. H. ran the Big School where Rexie got used to living outside. Compare her size here with the photos I took when I first got her.



Rexie in her new home. She dug straight down and seemed happy to discover the ground no longer had wire mesh in it.

It's possible to pick them up if you spread the weight over a large area so each spine bears less weight. And they're not barbed so they don't hurt as much as you'd expect.

Except when the animal jumps off the table and lands in your lap.
