But it never asked the right question.

Me, I start with an idea for an ending in my head
and work my way there. (shrug)

I usually start with a bunch of good ideas, work out which comes first and how to get there, then write my way to the end. Sometimes it's not the end I pictured.

Feh. There was only one question that even acknowleged the existence of poetry; the rest of them assume you're writing fiction. I mean, I am right now, because it's National Novel Writers' Month, (http://www.nanowrimo.org/) but the other 11 months, it's... well, poetry.
