And in other news

You know you're missing something from your diet when you see a rack of brussels sprouts at the market and you think "Wow, they look nice. I could go for some of them."

I've been trying to grow them in the back yard since August. So far, we have plants about 3' tall (about one meter, to those of you impaired by the metric system, heh) but they have yet to "sprout." Damnation. I love Brussel Sprouts. In garlic butter.

Evil vegetables

If I ever wander into a market and think the same of the dreaded LIMA BEAN, I will know that I am mentally up shit creek.

Brussels sprouts are bitter and tough if they get big and old enough. I prefer asparagus.

I had just got done reading your bat rescue stories. I`ve recently became a fan of bats. After reading about what the bats weight are I found myself thinking,"My lord, & I thought my hedgehogs were light weight."

Well anyhow I just wanted to come & say that I read the bat diaraies & found them amusing, interesting & a learning experience. :)
