Date: 19 Oct 2001 11:09 (UTC)Well I will say one thing, most of us programmers who do shareware (I may well do some in the future, doing all freeware right now) have been in your position too before. Well not the exact circumstances but we know what its like to be the starving artist/prgorammer type. If it were me who wrote it, I wouldn't care if you used it unregistered because you coudln't afford to. I'd understand and I'd hope the people who wrote it would too. I'd only get upset at people who COULD afford it comfortably and used it say, professionally to make tons of money for themselves. There is a difference, its shareware for that reason, if we wanted only paid users, we'd sell it shrink wrapped in a store or on the web.
