Yet More Fan Art

21st Century Fox has lots of nice heavy machinery. It makes me feel like I'm back on the mine.

128K of rendered goodness there :)

Any chance for a bit more of a "zoom in" on the machine? Assuming your PC doesn't melt in the middle of rendering it of course...

Tnx!

*teleports in from Scott's LJ* Veeeeeeeeeeeery nice. Makes me wish I had a render of my furry self ;) (not like I'd have any place to put it, as I don't have a personal computer anymore) Heh.

How long did it take for you to make this thing?

It took 4 hours to get all the basic elements looking right, then I sent it off to Scott for checking. He suggested some changes which took another 2 hours to make, then 180 minutes to render the final image.

I usually get Scott to proof my fan art so that it looks right. He doesn't get a nice "finished fan art" surprise, but he does get to see it being constructed. I don't know how many versions he saw of Jenny's Kingfisher.
