Do you want a piece of the Jurrasic?
Wollemi Pines will go on sale to the public in 2005.
Buy a few and play at being a muttuburrasaurus. Rar.

I saw that a couple of days ago, and
yes
I want one. Any idea on whether they'll ship out of the country, though?

I heard they have exported some seedlings to Other Places to test their growing viability. It will be interesting to see a Wollemi in everyone's front yard. 8)

I'm on the Wollemi group's mailing list, it's very cool to follow along as they propigate the trees. I only get one mailing a month, maybe less.
Hopefully they will be able to import them into the US, but given the bio-laws we have, it's questionable. Time will tell I'm sure.
Tnx & CYa!

I think it's unlikely they'll become the pest over there that eucalypts are. The pines are not common here!
