1 is the lowest on the scale and 22 is the highest, and it all pertains to ease of readability, how easy your LJ is for people to comprehend, so if you LJ had a score of 22, only those who have perhaps written thesis and dissertations would be able to comprehend what you were writing, 7 is a good score for something like LJ, it means that everyone can read what you write, between 9-11 is the average comprehension score.
