Car stuff

The battery in my car is getting... tired. The starter kicks over sluggishly, making an embarrassing rrr....rrr...rrr noise before the motor kicks off. I suppose this cool weather is affecting it. The battery has never been the same since it was allowed to run dead-flat in May. I think I need a new one.

Well, if it's failing, you better get a Jump on
replacing it. ;)

A dead battery is a revolting situation.

If it's like British / Canadian slang, "Jump" means something very very different.

Boost is what we used up in Canada for jump starting cars....

Jumping somene was very very much more personal....

We call it a "jump start" here. Giving a car a jump-start gets it going, but jumping a car requires a lot of leaping whereas jumping a person... well, that could also involve a lot of leaping. It depends on the strength of the bed.

Yeah, new battery time for me. My wallet's a little flat so I'll have to use a charge-card. Luckily I don't have to go anywhere so I have a little lead time before needing to buy it.

You could just do what I did for about 3 months when I had a dying battery: always park on a hill, then you can roll start it :)

The Lady Anne asked me to pass along: "Thats Good!"

And I, ohm, think it has potential.
