The pron spam I used to get was pretty mild. "Enlarge your penis!" "Enlarge you breasts!" What, both at once? "Plenty of naked ladies with big boobies!" heh, they said Boobies. Hooray for boobies! Where would we be without gannets?

But I've noticed over the last few months the porn spam taking a rather nasty turn. Incest ("Mother with son!" "Father with Daughter!") Homoerotica, phrased in a way that is anything but erotic ("Men fucking up the ass!") and today, rape. "See rape!" was the subject line, and I'm pretty certain it wasn't from the Canola Marketing Board.

And they're using tricks to get past SAProxy. Sexx, secks, seks, ra-pe, r&pe and so on. If only there was some way to tell them to Shut Up And Go Away.

I've noticed the same trend, and I've been spamcopping the serious ones. I mean, c'mon. There are lots of people out there who have been abused, and this kind of spam is *so* painful. It's an invasion.

What I like is when they can't even *spell* correctly.
I send the worst offenders to the anti-spam patrol. I figure they think I need pr0n to wallpaper the house full of discount viagra with cheap aluminum siding that I am curently getting a grand mortgage rate on. With all these other debts who can afford it:D? I ask you!

At some point in our history the contradictory messages "sex is good" and "sex is bad" resolved into the idea that sex is not good unless it is bad, and the worse, the better. By now I would estimate that a growing majority of people in our culture can't feel aroused without pain, shame, humiliation, degradation, or outright stomach-turning revulsion. A small fringe of weirdos like me are interested in enjoying something that feels good, but thanks to a century of people being conditioned at cross purposes, "married cum sluts forcing skank leper whores to eet chunky dog poop!!1!" is what has the mass-market appeal.

I've been getting this same stuff too, and I've been sending it off to SpamCop. I've noticed in the message headers of this spam that the spam is being sent using "SuperMail-2", which I set up my filters to block anything that contains "X-Mailer: SuperMail-2" in the headers.

Check the message headers of the spam you've been receiving and tell me if it contains the line "X-Mailer: SuperMail-2".

As if by some cruel juxtaposition of low self-esteem (who, me?) and cruel marketing, I seem to get spam that alternates between enhancing my "upper body" (boobies), and my "lower body" (penis). I'm still trying to figure out the algorithm that got me on the "insecure hermaphrodite marketing list."
