Rexie

I spoke to H. abour echidna care and maintenance. I shouldn't be worried about Rexie yet. H suggested I should try adding some solids to Rexie's milk. I'll thaw out a little bit of gruel and add it into tomorrow's feed. She also suggested letting Rexie warm up before I try to feed her. Apparently they're like bats that way.

What a strange animal.

They have echidna gruel? Would it be easier to chop some echidna worms or something for him/her/it to try out? Just a thought

it's a combination of insectivore and carnivore mixes, some puree'd meal worms and vitamin supplements. I have some blocks in the freezer. Keeping a supply of natural food is difficult: they eat termites. I want to keep my home.

Just termites. It couldn't be something easy or anything.

I think Kangaroos are normal, so that gives you an idea how strange "strange" is to me. 8)

I still think echidnas would make a teedotbee mascot.
