(no subject)

I appear to have aquired some new readers.

waves Hello! What brings you to my journal about my mundane life?

I forgot to mention, S.S.D.D. is here. It's mostly a furry strip.

*waves back*

I was just wandering along looking for other writers and interesting folks located on this side of the planet.

Some of the time differences on my friends list are really unnerving (not including the bloke who has the date and time stamp on his LJ a month ahead and 3 hours behind...)

Has anyone else noticed that when you press the Random link on LJ (when it is working) the majority of random LJs are either Russian or located in Georgia, USA?

Or is this just me?

I think it might be you. I seem to end up with Scandanavians, Goths, or Angsty Teenagers.

Um, the Georgians sort of double as the Goth contingent and I somehow overlooked the Angsty Teenagers...

(One day last weekend, two different people mentioned loving bats, in their journals -- one even rescued a bat in her own house, and set it free -- so I pointed them this way.)

I'm one of the two {waves}

I'm always pimping your journal...

Well, first, I like bats...second, your stories about rescuing animals are interesting...and...three....why not? :)

Woohoo! SSDD! Erm, anyway...I was informed of your LJ by another LJ user who noticed that I'm both furry and fond of bats. Anyone who helps bats (and other oft-maligned critters) is cool in my book.

Do I count?

Ha! You've given yourself away, my friend; you can't really expect anyone to read the line "my journal about my mundane life" and not see through your pretense! Clearly, you have abducted the real author of this journal and are trying to gain more information about your prisoner. Well, it won't work. This journal is far too interesting and insightful for even the lowliest of web-surfers to fail to notice your little slip. I won't tell you anything, not even that I merely stumbled upon this journal by following the link from a comment the author posted elsewhere... wait, I mean, I didn't say that! Carry on!

Drats! They're on to me!

I got linked to your journal a while back, and I love bats so I stuck around.

An Australian bat made into the Day in Pictures feature on sfgate this morning, and I thought of you!

Cute picture! Except...

If it's an east-coast freetail then it's not the smallest bat. That title belongs to the eastern forest bat. Actually, the bat in the picture has the face of a forest bat.

I yam pedantic.
