I wandered up to the Uni for O Day and met the course co-ordinator. He helped me sort out some questions I had about the elective subjects. Then he questioned me about why EVERYONE failed Java. I gave him an honest answer based on my problems (the video conferencing technolody acting up, coming in to Java cold, 3 hour exam.) Then I asked him about another subject I failed: Object Modelling. I told him I found the lecturer has a very confrontational method of teaching.

"Oh shit! He's like that with everyone, even the other lecturers! You guys are nothing special."

Damn. I was feeling special, too.

Takes all the fun out of learning,
and learning is 10 times harder

I'm at the Dubbo campus of Charles Sturt Uni. It's all new! THe building won architctural award. Pity it's so crap to work in.
