Just playing around with MiranaIM as a replacement for Trillian. I can't get it to sho my list of contacts for some reason. SEND ME A MESSAGE!

Oh, and Targs? I can't get it to show your weather plugin. The dll is in the pluging dir, but it doesn't appear in the options.

Eh, erm... one downside of Miranda is that it can be a bitch to configure. Recommendation 1 - in options, make sure "show expert options" is enabled. Then check the ICQ Contacts option and basically enable everything in there; and disable the import plugin, it's utter crap.

One thing this should highlight is the fact that Trillian doesn't always actually *add* people to your ICQ list when you're adding them to the Trillian list.

If you've got the other plugins (MSN, YM, Jabber - you'll note they're not included as default), they should connnect by default once you've added your login details. I think the only caveat with them is that you need to change the Yahoo server to the US one.

Lastly, weather can be a swine if certain options are configured - if you still want to mess with it after all the above, catch me online and I'll help you out with it.
