Someone posted a link to an LJ that reposted the "Stella Awards"

I went to that LJ, read all the typical fucking furry anti-human posts, then posted a link to Snopes.com showing it's all an urban legend.

I get called a troll: "gawd you people just love to troll and correct people eh?" is the specific comment.

Sometimes I wonder why I bother trying.

You shouldn't read more into that comment than mild annoyance. And the mild annoyance of one person should not be cause for you to re-evaluate your own self-worth.

I posted, after the reponse to you, my own research into the issue; I had seen this list years ago. I spend a fair amount of time debunking silly notions; I try to balance concerns for truth and concerns for feelings. You did fine, and your comments were appropriate.
