Create a nation!

The Commonwealth of Bats is a tiny, socially progressive nation, renowned for its burgeoning flying fox population. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The large government is mainly concerned with Social Welfare, although Healthcare and Education are on the agenda. The average income tax rate is 28%, but much higher for the wealthy. A small private sector is dominated by the Furniture Restoration industry.

Crime is relatively low. Bats's national animal is the flying fox, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the pterop.

I created mine, but the site's having problems. I can see the nation listed (Mine is the Republic of Panthera) but it won't acknowledge it as a nation and let me log in. I'm in Skipai's furry area, btw.

Yes I can see you and we have a 3rd nation now in our area. We have to decide on if we want to join the UN or go it alone :) Some political discussions I think.

As for logging in. You have to type in your nation name, being.

Panthera

Type exactly, followed by the password you gave.

Definitely a bug in the system...this is what it says:

"There is no nation known as "Panthera". Perhaps you misspelled it?"

But I didn't :( I haven't had any luck getting a response on the "forgotten password" or from the admin either. Forgotten password requires the name of the nation (which it says doesn't exist) and the admin hasn't gotten back to me yet.

You're on there as typing Panthera.

Have you tried doing it in all low caps? Without the capital P?

Nope, none of it worked. I've tried every possible variation. The login simply refuses to acknowledge the nation exists. I've tried:

Panthera
panthera
PANTHERA
Republic of Panthera
The Republic of Panthera

It says the country doesn't exist. I'm STILL waiting for a response from the admin.

This should be fun me thinks. However, I am keeping tabs on a certain Dictorship we seem to have as well now, then again I am slightly but I have moved away from what I started as. Hmmm. We shall see where I end up being eventually :)
