Updated the new fan-art to incorporate some things [livejournal.com profile] kelloggs2066 suggested. The original drawings can be found on his comic 21st Century Fox

Oh, and [livejournal.com profile] lonita , here is a bit of a flame for you, aimed at your favourite Darwinian. The whole message was great but this is my favourite peice.

"I like you Erich. You're such a great source of amusement. If you aren't
wallowing in ignorance, you're wallowing myopically in prejudicial
poison. You're so much FUN to have around. Every newsgroup needs a
resident HP (hateful person). You're that marvelous combination of
village idiot, spiteful dwarf, racist redneck, and Hogan's Hero style
bumbling Nazi. You're great fun."

*sniggles and giggles madly* Too right!

Hmmm. It occurs to me that "Darwinian," to an Aussie, could have more than one meaning.

Someone from the town of Darwin, perhaps? ;-)

I spend a bit of time writing about the topic of evolution, however.

Yes, I was referring to someone from Darwin. That monkey-boy grows mangoes and shoots flying foxes, even though this years crop is unsellable and rotting on the trees.

He is bigoted and scornful of everyone who does not share his opinions. He is a troll, and has been since the days of Fidonet before the term "troll" was known. The echo was known as "Life, the Universe and Everything" and referred to the topic of discussion, not Douglas Adams. It was unmoderated, and under Fidonet policy we had to elect a moderator. So we did, and he unmoderated spectatularly. The echo was known as "the toilet of Fidonet" and is was a no-holds-barred discussion area.

And now it has migrated to The Net, along with its resident trolls, HPs, looneys, conspiracy theorists, techno-geeks, wiccans, Goths, knitters, the Strange Person, and a wannabe writer.

So there. You now have a potted history of an echo/newsgroup/mailing list of which you still know nothing. Image

I only qualify for three out of ten of your categories.

I qualify for 3, or 4 if you add that I am a plain-clothes Goth.
