I created a near-perfect mirror texture, placed it in a wooden frame, and made a narrow corridore by c&p the mirror. The whole maze is an enclosed square. At each corner is a mirror turned 45 degrees. This mirror is at the point where there is a slight brightening on the floor. Then I added the roof timbers to disguise the reflected timbers.
The real hall turns right, then right, then right to bring you back to the starting point. If there was a cameraman, he'd see the back of himself in the distance.
