overwelmed
I have been using, operating, and repairing computers since 1985, and not once have I ever been inclined to do programming. I'm not a programmer, I never was. Now I have a Java assignment due in the news 2 days and I'm buggered. I'm going to fail, because the last 70% of this subject hangs on a fucking EXAM and I must pass the two assignments.
I didn't think missing that job affected me, but it has. Yesterday was a dead-loss as far as productivity went and today isn't much better.

When it gets that bad, just take it one step at a time ... set tiny goals. Once you get the first tiny bit done, it becomes a lot easier to use that momentum to ignore what's happening around you and keep going on the work you want to do ...

Sometimes you're taken to the wall
But you don't give in!"~
Hang in there, Den. You can do it! What you do isn't all of who you are. What you do is looked at by those who are profit minded. I'm not hanging around for the money show. I'm here for the people department! It's just a class, and it can always be retaken, dropped or re-arranged. And you thought you were the only loony:D! Do what is right for *you*. I know rejection hurts. Bugger *them*. Their loss.
