Pours a very dark, opaque brown. Small head that fades away to a thin lacing. No carbonation visible.

First Sip: Some dark roasted malts, and a lot of toffee and coffee flavours that almost overwhelm the malts. Mild bitter, lingering aftertaste. Mouth-feel is creamy and slightly dry, and a little foamy.

This porter is very drinkable. It's a good one for cold weather and is very warming in the belly. On the other hand, I would prefer a good stout over this because it's a little too sweet and cloying.
