Smokey Bishop

Pours a very dark, but clear, brown. The head is small and thin and turns into a thin lacing.

First Sip: A mild taste of sweet dark malt quickly overwhelmed by toffee flavours. There is a little taste of hops on the back of the tongue. Mouth-feel is thin and fizzy and a little dry.

This is a drinkable beer. And that's about it. You know, if you're going to drink this, then you might as well stick with Toohey's Old - a dark macro-brew that has more taste and everything else going for it. Smokey Bishop promised to be a yummy dark lager, and it broke that promise.
