You thought I'd given up on beer? You don't know me very well.

Gage Roads Atomic Pale

Pours a deep, clear golden colour with carbonation visible. The head is white and slowly fades away to a thin lace.

First Sip: Mild malty taste with a slight caramel in the background. Small amount of hops that lasts a long, long, long time on the back of the tongue. Small amount of carbonation tingle on the tongue. Mouth feel is a little thin.

This is nice. All the flavours are nice and mild, nothing stands out - except for the long lasting hops at the end. But even that is nice and mild. It's not great, but not bad. It's... nice. I would happily drink this while waiting for meat to smoke. It certainly goes well with a nice King Island Blue cheese.
