Around The World In 80 Beers Episode 132: Mudgee Pale Ale

Mudgee Brewery Pale Ale

Pours a pale, slightly cloudy yellow. A fair bit of carbonation. The head is thick and fluffy, and fades away quickly to form a thin lace of bubbles.

First Sip: A lot of citrus and hops up front. The hops lingers for a while. Not much else happening here; the malt is buried under the sou citrus. Mouth-feel is dry, thin and a little fizzy.

I dunno. It's drinkable. It's okay. It's nice. It causes a nice warming feeling in the belly. But there is just too much citrus and not enough of anything else. Disappointing.
