An Aussie Beer - a pale Euro lager from South Australia.

Coopers Premium Lager

Pours a clear pale gold. Lots of carbonation. A large bubble head that fades away quickly

First Sip: Nice slightly sweet malt, a little grainy taste in there. There is a mild bitterness that fades away slowly but doesn't linger. Nice carbonation tingle on the tongue.

This is quite a yummy beer even if it is a lager. I can see myself with a six-pack in an esky, quaffing them at a bbq. It goes down nice and easily - and I don't think that has anything to do with the 40C+ temperature today*. Definitely one to keep in the beer fridge.

It needs to be drunk cold, from the bottle with a stubby holder. It warms too fast in the glass** and, like all lagers, it doesn't warm well. Even so, it is still drinkable.

Same again, sir? Yes please!

* Yeah okay, it probably does have something to do with it.
**Today it does. At 40C everything warms too fast in the glass.
