99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottle of beer! Take one down and pass it around wait, what? "Pass it around"? Bugger off.

Pours a cloudy pale yellow. The head is large and frothy, and fades away moderately quickly.
First sip: A lot of malt and yeast up front. A touch of fruit and citrus almost buried by yeast. Creamy mouth-feel with a slight tingle of carbonation on the tongue. No hops to speak of.
After the last two beers from Sierra Nevada, it was a shock and surprise to not get battered by hops. If you really like hops then this is a little bottle of disappointment. I prefer more malt in my brew and this one does not disappoint. It is not quite as good as the German and Austrian hefeweizen, but even so, it is very nice and I can see myself easily demolishing a six-pack at a bbq.
I am really happy to find American Beers that don't suck and are better than okay.
