Still in Mexico.

Pours a clear ambar. Head is small that fades to a fine lacing. Carbonation is fine bubbles.
First Sip: Mild malt, with moderate hops and light bitterness. Slightly sweet malt after taste.
Even though this amber lager is a little thin and light on taste, it is a rather nice brew. It is nicely malty, not too sweet, not too bitter, highly drinkable. A nice change after those bland pales and adjuncts. And the malt becomes more noticeable as the beer warms in the glass.
I know what I'll be ordering if I ever get to Mexico.

Sane again, sir? Yes.

But Den, how can you be drinking beer and launching Kerbals at this time of day? I hear you ask.
Last week I some how royally screwed up my left ankle - the one I sprained ten years ago when I fell off the lateral moraine at Fox Glacier in New Zealand. I was standing in the office, talking to one of the workers, and my ankle went POP! And I couldn't walk. And it hurt a lot. And I said Certain Words.
So I'm on ibuprofen and ankle straps and sitting at home. I probably shouldn't drink and take Nurofen, but I'm going to enjoy my time off work, dammit.
