Something from the deep wilds of Bedforshire.

Pours a dark amber with a small-medium head that fades away slowly. A little carbonation is visible.

First Sip: A lot of hops up front, as well as sweet malts and a sort of well-done toast and dark toffee taste. There is a lingering bitterness and dryness. Mouth-feel is creamy with a little carbonation tingle. Nice beer-burp.

Not as nice as other bitters I've tried but it would make a good session beer. This is a nice beer and as the glass warms, it gets nicer. It's a little too bitter to my taste, but I can see myself lounging in front of a fire with a half of this and a small wheel of Stilton and crackers.

That sounds like an excellent winter's evening.
