My friend and fellow rescuer, H., has exerted her Rescue Fu and is now the carer of a wombat joey. Bumble weighs a shade overn 1kg and is restricted to his pouch 24/7 so it's a little too early to go and visit him. I'm waiting to see if she will let me post her photos. In the meantime I will attempt to give you my first impression upon seeing said photos:
