Impulse buying
1 February 2003 14:46My brother Cam walking onto a shop in Port Macquarie to buy a video, but bought instead a ticket for 10 days in Viet Nam.
Now that's impulse buying.
He really wants to see Long Tan where Platoons 10,11 and 12 of D Company, 6th Battalion, RAR, held off held off a Division of the NVA and Militia Unit D445. That was the last time the NVA tried a direct assault on the Australian troops. It was only a small battle in the Viet Nam war, but it means a lot to us Aussies.
