I was handed a bronze-wing pigeon today.
It had been shot in the chest by a small caliber weapon. ( Not for the easily squicked. I'm not joking. )
What I saw made me feel ill and angry. For once I was happy to euthanize a bird. What sort or arsehole shoots a native pigeon?
