Yummy Beers
14 April 2002 11:17I've just discovered the Australian Good Beer Directory here. My current favourite brewery is the Malt Shovel Brewery, who are producing porter ale to a recipe that dates back to the first fleet.

For Lonita: Where to buy Supershine
I've been to the two in Canberra. The Wig And Pen started off really nice, but the brewer moved elsewhere and the taste really dropped off. The Pizza Kitchen sells really yummy stout and Ginger Beer. AND, they have a wood-fired oven in which they cook their pizzas.
When I have time I think I'll do a Yummy Beer Country Tour, and try them all. Who wants to come along?
