Mechanical Thingies

My mechanic Dave looked under the front of my car this morning and said "You know that CV joint boot I said was on the way out in April? Well, it has progressed beyond on the way out and is now officially out." Yes, ho does talk like that.

The boot around the RH cv joint has split and thrown molybdenum grease all over the wheel well. Luckily there is still enough grease sticking around the joint to keep it lubricated and wear hasn't set in. The car visits Dave on Tuesday. I'd like it running well for the big drive to Melbourne for the Gather. Arc is being picked up at Tullamarine, but I've offered my driving service as a back up. In Case.

Interview tomorrow. Ooh heck!
