We interrupt this assignment.
For the next hour I will be listening to Dr Karl on JJJ
Do it! Do it now! This bloke knows the answer to everything. It's science made accessible. He is my hero.
Update If you know why the sky is blue, go to http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/stn/default.htm#questions and tell Dr Karl.

Um...the sky is blue because that's the part of light not absorbed by the air molecules. Then there's the relative angle of light to viewer POV to take into consideration, hence sky is darker blue right above and lighter blue at the horizon.
Also, a sunset appears red because red portion of white light has the longest wavelength, therefore it travels the furthest. This is also why a stop light is red, because you will see it before any other light.

So, did you listen?

Because.
Because the wind is high it blows my mind
Because the sky is blue it makes me cry
Love is old love is new
Love is all love is you
