I'm not religious, but I got a thing for cathedrals :P Something about the mix of stained glass, depressing grey stone and their somber, solemn air makes them really cool places in my book. That and abandoned ones make really good roosting spots ;)
Oh out of curiosity, what are you running this on? What specs on the computer that is?
I was watching a show on Discovery or something along those lines, and they had a show about an old church or cathedral that had been made into a brewery/bar. It was beautiful. Stained glass is very peaceful.

POVRay only needs grunt processing, not high speed video cards and stuff.
