It must be the light. Those bats look absolutely *green*:D! Cute as hell, but green. I wish we had some around here, but we've got a real dearth of mango trees in this climate. Wisonsin has a total of seven species of bats with 14 sub species anomalies possible in the Mouse-Eared Bat group. I removed a youngster belonging to one of the rarer mouse ear categories from a fire alarm in a building I lived in years ago.
It had the tiniest toes I've ever seen, and they were pink-ish with brown freckle spots.
