Didn't cheer me up, but did do something better. Your drawing made my eyes grateful. What medium did you use to create this drawing?
Also I didn't see a crypt... I saw a "way out".

It was modelled on Moray, and rendered on POVRay. Moray is shareware, POVRay is free.

I tried all sorts of decorations on the back wall, but a door with stairs leading up felt right.

I seem to be going through an architectural phase with my pictures. I've already done the space ship phase.

I see a great big cathedral wing where you can see the tiny little bats flit about in the moonlight waaaaaaay up high above you if you're on night monk duty and you look carefully. And they like to hang from the gargoyles toes:).......
