Dinner toinght

Tonight for dinner I had crab balls and squid rings.

I wonder what they did with the rest of the animals. It seems a waste to just eat those parts.

I still think that's all pretty diesturbing, and it's making me think of That Word.

Think of all the fish swimming around with fingerless fins.

Most of the innards of the crab are eaten.. the shell can be boiled to make a stock.. I didnt realize that folks just ate the testicles of the crab tho.

Squid rings are the "head" areas of the critter sliced. Thus you have calamari. In the orient, they also eat the "suckers" and the legs and if you have watched the Iron Chef, the ink as well.

BTW, how small are those crab balls? I never thought they had testicles. You must have gone to one of those noveaux cusine places.. You know, the ones where you get a spot of food on a humungous plate? :)

What's a man do after a hard days work splintin'
raptors?

He feels a little shellfishness is a good thing so
he wreaks some haddock later on.
