This is amusing.

Put some text into this and it runs through 5 different translaters before spitting back the final phrase.

So you get this, which is this text multibabeled:

It introduces the certain text in this and he work 5 of translaters, of that before that one he after that the expression of the obstruction is different, cuspindo. Therefore you apanha this, that one that is east text multibabeled:

cuspindo?

Neat

Just for some fun, I ran the first couple of paragraphs of an unfinished story through it.

The upside: I came up with a new title for the story, and a cool direction to take it in.

The down: The story became instantly unintelligible after being translated to French (though it sounded incredibly dirty when read aloud. Of course, I always think French sounds just a bit naughty.

The text, specifically, is here: http://www.livejournal.com/talkread.bml?journal=berin&itemid=56750

(btw, I put this comment under the wrong journal entry. Oops)

*chuckles* I had to try this out; my first two ideas were Shakespear quotes ("To be or Not to be, that is the question" which was pretty funny, and "Alas, poor Yorrick - I knew him, Horatio, a man of infinite jest" which was HILLARIOUS!). What finally inspired me was quoting the first section of the very first line of the opening of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (hey, this is through Bablefish after all) -- and after about 5 different retranslations, it could not do the last translation from Spanish back into english!! *ROTFLMAO* Oh dear dog, try it - here's the quote: "Deep in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the galaxy lies a small, unreguarded yellow sun" -- do try it, it's hillarious! PS: I'd also done the first stanza of Jabberwokky -- and it translated!!
