Wansford Station, the best place to park if you want to go to Peterborough.

According to a commenter on my Flickr gallery, the Rev Awdrey named this engine "Thomas." It's the real Thomas.
A mail train
Our train coming in to Wansford, with the broken steam engine in tow. We were supposed to be going by steam to Peterborough, but it was not to be.

In the past, the stone was white-washed and all the statues painted brightly.
The Nave
The Abbey Clock. It rang a bell to tell the monks it was time for prayer, eating, vespers, etc.
And finally, our train pulls into Peterborough NVR to take us back to Wansford.
