More photos of the Shuttleworth Collection. I don't remember most of the names of the planes so if you want to find out what they are, you'll have to visit the collection.

The Bristol Boxkite was built in 1910 ... actually, it's a replica built in 1963 and flown by Orvil Newton in "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines, Or How I Flew from London to Paris in 25 Hours 11 Minutes." It was renamed The Pheonix Flyer for the movie.

Isn't that last one (in the last two pics) a Dragon Rapide? There's a flying one in NZ that I almost went for a joyride in when I visted a year or two ago. (Just as well I didn't, as it turned out; we were heading from Te Anau to Dunedin, and when we got there we discovered that we'd just outrun a flood that would have had us stuck there for over a week if we'd stopped on the way to check out old aircraft. But still... maybe next time!)
