..and that would be why third-party off-site back-ups have always been a bad idea. Because it's only secure if you trust someone else to keep it safe, or keep it at all.
Seriously, I thought we settled that argument back in the early 80's. I guess the half-life of people not learning from history is subject to an inverse Moore's law too.
Other than my e-mail, I believe I can say I don't use 'cloud' as backup. Display, yes; through Flickr & Deviant Art & soon others, I display photographs. Those are not backups.
Even with the e-mail, I'm not sure I totally like the concept. There are times (weather with satellite 'net, other?) when connectivity is spotty, and can't get at the mail.
