F1

The sausages of death failed! Schmacher won!

Mark Webber cam 5th so he and Minardi get points. I love this country. Schumie won but Webber is the hero.

I love the way "doing a Bradbury" has entered the lexicon.

I share your pain. Too bad DC's gearbox went. But that didn't really seem like a race, at least as seen the way I had to see it - through lap summaries. It seemed more like carnage.

Oh My Goodness, that first turn has gotta make the all time top ten. Reminds me of another race down there when it was so bad in the rain than Alan Prost (a man of little fear} pulled off the track and said ENOUGH.
Has any other company ever made a point on it's first outing?? That is a company that hasn't bought another but started from scratch? Also, Montoya did give him one-hellofa-race for a couple of laps. who do you say it,, Balls the size of churchbells....

Prost in the rain was one of the last races at Adelaide.

Minardi have been around for a while, but Paul Stoddart (aus) bought them last year and hired Mark Webber (aus) to drive. 5th is not too bad for a F1 rookie.
