New Company Car

About 2 months ago the company accountant rang to say "We've made a lot of money this year!"

"Good!"

"No! No! The tax burden is horrible! We have to buy you a new car."

"But the Prius is only 2 years old! I like it."

"We'll keep it in the fleet, because it's really cheap to run compared to the trucks. Steve can drive it. Tell me what you want."

I told him.

And he said "Okay."

And I thought: wow!

Today, my car port looks like this:

The blue one in the back? Is it a hatchback? If so, it might have enough cargo space to fit my bicycle. My criteria starts out with: hatchback that can swallow my bicycle whole, at least 600 km per 40 L of fuel, and standard stick-shift, not automatic. I should be out shopping for one now.

The blue one! It's a hatch, and the rear seats fold flat. The 50 ltr tank will get me from Dubbo to Sydney and back (790km) The Lexus and Prius are both hybrids, so manual is not an option - they have CV auto transmissions.
