ROAD TRIP

I'm heading off to Port Macquarie tomorrow, so I will miss not writing in my journal all day. The first 3 hours of my trip will be a drive through the solar system.

I have stocked up on chocolate bilbies and wombats; the easter bunny can get stuffed.

I've never actually had rabbit, though we do serve them here. You can get rabbit meat in some supermarkets depending on locality, but beef and chicken are what is most readily available.

One of the local meat centres mostly sells beef, chicken, lamb and pork, and they also stock rabbit, turkey, venison, kangaroo, emu, crocodile, buffalo and camel.

Haven't tried camel yet.

Yeah, you definitely can't find kangaroo, emu, crocodile, buffalo or camel meat in the US. Despite the popularity of lamb in resteraunts, you don't see that too often either.
