Yes, they're more evil than Intel(tm)! You can tell, it's written all over their down and glinting in their eyes. They're plotting to blot out the sun, with their black beaks and webbed feet, forever. ;)

Seriously, these two remind me of a type of duck one of my grandfathers used to hunt in the Everglades of Florida called the Florida Mallard (http://myfwc.com/duck/mottled/), only that they're black with grey instead of golden yellow/tan with grey. What subspecies are these two you have pictured?

They are Australian Wood Ducks. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chenonetta Not to be confused with Wood Ducks you have there.
