UK Trip Day 19 part 1
Camelot! I mean, Tintagel!
On the road to Tintagel
A brisk walk down to the Castle Cafe and entry.
The ruined gate house and Castle Cafe
Tingagel House aka Camelot Castle Guest House.
Tintagel Keep from the Castle Cafe
"Merlin's Cave" where he waited while Uther Pendragon met Arthur's mum in the castle. Apparently.
The Castle
The main gate (and a modern shelter containing a teacher from France. She was with the coach load of students that arrived when I did.)
The path runs through what was once the basement stores of the Great Hall. You can see holes for the support posts in the stone wall.
