Apparently this geyser looks like the feathers on the crest of the Prince Of Wales.
One of the many hot pools. The Maori of Whakarewarewa once used these pools to bathe, and still use the steam vents for heating and cooking.
Sulfur deposit at a steam vent. The whole area smells of sulfur.
Boiling mud. The black rings are hydrocarbons.
